After waiting for nearly four years, Sandrone is finally escaping the NPC jail and joining the playable roster.

Most of us first saw her back in 2022 during that legendary "A Winter Night's Lazzo" Harbinger reveal trailer. Even though she barely had any lines, that creepy-cool puppet master aesthetic paired with a massive ruin guard robot instantly made her a highly anticipated character in the community.

Fast forward to Version 6.7, and she is finally here.

But honestly, the biggest talking point right now isn't even just her kit — it's the fact that HoYoverse might have actually saved Superconduct.

Let’s be real: Superconduct has been the absolute biggest joke of an elemental reaction since launch. But Sandrone’s brand-new "Stellar Superconduct" mechanic might completely rewrite how we play Cryo and Electro units.

If you're staring at your Primogems wondering if she’s worth your hard-earned pulls, or if this new meta is just pure copium, here is the breakdown.

原神 6.7 Sandrone

Who is Sandrone Anyway?

Unlike most Harbingers who are just out for chaos or power, Sandrone's lore runs a bit deeper into the "sentient AI" trope.

Her body is basically a product of the legendary Fontaine inventor Alain Guillotin, crafted to mimic his late sister, Mary-Ann.

Over the last few Archon Quests, she shifted from an antagonist to working alongside the Traveler, playing a massive role in the Nod-Krai storyline. If you actually pay attention to the dialogue, you know she paid a pretty heavy price to get here.

The Sandrone we are getting on the 6.7 banner is basically the fully repaired, freshly rebooted version.

The massive difference from her boss model? Pulonia, her giant robot, is gone. Instead, she’s accompanied by a scaled-down companion bot named Fagio, and her entire kit is basically built around utilizing him.

The Real MVP: Stellar Superconduct

If you want to sum up Version 6.7 in one sentence: Sandrone isn't the biggest update here; the Superconduct rework is.

Standard Superconduct just lowers physical resistance. But since the meta left physical DPS in the dust ages ago, nobody uses it.

Stellar Superconduct is completely different.

When Cryo and Electro react while Fagio’s field is active, it applies a stacking debuff to enemies. Hit max stacks, and it instantly triggers a massive AoE explosion. The best part? This explosion scales independently, meaning it doesn't care about your character’s raw talent multipliers.

This instantly acts as an insane buff for older benched Cryo and Electro units. The community is already theorycrafting some wild teams featuring:

  • Raiden Shogun

  • Qiqi

  • Diona

  • Cyno

Yes, you read that right — people are actually unironically discussing Qiqi for high-end meta teams in 2026. What a time to be alive.

How She Plays: Surprisingly Straightforward

Don't panic when you see new reaction terms. The test server feedback shows her kit is actually pretty straightforward.

The basic loop is simple:

  1. Drop her skill to activate Fagio.

  2. Spam Cryo and Electro to trigger quick reactions and build stacks.

  3. Let Stellar Superconduct do its massive nuke damage.

  4. Repeat.

The only thing you actually need to manage is Fagio's energy bar. Sandrone's energy decay rates spike hard when she’s off-field, which confirms she is a traditional, selfish on-field main DPS. If you are used to the field-time requirements of characters like Ayaka or Neuvillette, you’ll adapt to her playstyle instantly.

Teammate Synergy: Who Pairs Well With Her?

Raiden Shogun is hands-down the best partner for her right now. Unmatched off-field Electro application, smooth energy generation, and zero rotation friction.

It’s hilarious looking at the Phase 2 rerun banner because HoYoverse isn't even hiding it — they are straight-up telling you to pull Raiden right after you get Sandrone.

Aside from Raiden, Qiqi and Diona are seeing a massive resurgence in viability. Diona's C6 (especially that +200 EM buff) is looking incredibly high-value for a reaction-heavy team like this.

Also, good news: she does not require Columbina to function. If you already have a solid roster of Cryo/Electro units, you can build a competitive team out of the box.

Artifact Pre-farming: Are You Ready?

If you’ve been grinding the "幽影祛魅" (Shadow Dispel) domain since 6.6, you're winning.

The 4-piece set bonus is basically customized entirely around boosting Superconduct reaction damage. Back when the set first dropped, people were confused about what HoYo was cooking. Well, now we know.

If you already have good Crit pieces, she’ll be ready to clear Abyss the day you pull her on July 1st.

The Verdict: Is Sandrone Worth Your Pulls?

It really boils down to how you’re planning your rolls for the upcoming Snezhnaya arc.

If you just need a strong Cryo main DPS, she’s an easy pull. But her true value is being the foundational cornerstone of the new Superconduct meta.

Once 7.0 drops, future Cryo and Electro units will almost certainly build upon this Stellar Superconduct framework. Pulling Sandrone isn't just about getting a single unit; it’s basically an early investment ticket for the future meta. For long-term players, that value beats out raw multiplier numbers any day.

Quick Pull Priority

Pull if:

  • You want to play the new Superconduct archetype.

  • You need a dedicated Cryo carry.

  • You already have Raiden Shogun built.

  • You plan to fully invest in the upcoming 7.0 Snezhnaya meta.

Skip/Wait if:

  • Your current main teams are already clearing Abyss easily.

  • You're saving everything for 7.0 characters.

  • You just don't care about Cryo/Electro reactions.

Constellations:C0 is a complete package. C1 offers some nice quality-of-life adjustments to her gauge management, but C2 is where the actual massive vertical investment damage spike is. For 90% of players, stopping at C0 is the play.
