Guys, the time for the 7.0 preview is finally basically confirmed!!!

The 7.0 Special Program is set for July 31 (Friday) at 8:00 PM (Beijing time). As the closing livestream for Version 6.7 (July 1–August 11), it will skip 6.8 entirely and move seamlessly into Snezhnaya on August 12. This livestream should be the most information-packed one since launch—Snezhnaya gameplay, the full banner lineup, anniversary rewards, all revealed in one go.

Livestream Time & Watch Guide

Time: July 31 (Friday), 20:00 (Beijing time)

China server channels: Genshin Impact official livestream room on Bilibili (the most stable video quality, recommended first choice), official Genshin Impact Douyin account, and HoYoLAB/Miyoushe livestream room will go live at the same time

International channels: Official YouTube and Twitch channels will stream simultaneously. Overseas players can simply search for the official “Genshin Impact” account

Redeem codes:

The 7.0 preview marks the opening chapter of the finale for Teyvat’s seven nations, with far denser content than a regular minor-version stream. Snezhnaya gameplay, the full banner lineup, anniversary rewards, and the first reveal of Odette’s skills—everything will be dropped in one livestream.

At 8:00 PM on July 31, make sure you are ready in the official Bilibili, YouTube, or Twitch livestream room. Overseas players can simply search for the official “Genshin Impact” account. The stream will be broadcast simultaneously in China and overseas, so there is no need to worry about a staggered release. The official finalized schedule poster is expected to be released around July 28, so the exact time can be reconfirmed then.

During the livestream, codes will be released in three batches for a total of 300 Primogems, distributed simultaneously across Chinese and international livestreams

1: First Snezhnaya Gameplay Showcase

The frozen main city, industrial mining zones, and icy domain areas—Snezhnaya’s in-game visuals will be fully revealed for the first time. New snow climbing and low-temperature environment systems will be added, along with the previously teased snowy nation train gameplay. Trains appeared several times in the teaser, and with multiple carriages, they are probably more than just a means of transportation.

2: Full Banner Lineup Confirmation

The skill and constellation gameplay demo for the new first-half 5-star Odette (Cryo sword support) will be revealed in the livestream. The complete second-half banner lineup and rerun character arrangements will also be announced. Odette’s Chinese voice actor is Pan Danni, which was officially announced in the earlier PV “Sudden Snow.” The main DPS for the opening of Snezhnaya is Voyanisa (voiced by Su Wan).

According to current leaks, Odette has dual mechanics for Lunar Superconduct and Lunar Swirl, making her a key piece of Snezhnaya’s new reaction system. Her C2 is being called a transformative constellation by the community; C0 is usable, but going to C2 is expected to provide a substantial boost!

3: 300 Primogem Redeem Codes

During the livestream, codes will be released in three batches for a total of 300 Primogems. If you miss the stream, you may be able to claim them from the official recap, but it is still recommended to watch live—sometimes these codes are gone if you are too slow!

4. Anniversary Reward Details

The full rules for rewards such as a selectable standard 5-star character, the free 4-star character Arosha, and selectable constellations will be announced during the livestream. Since 6.8 is being skipped and the game is going straight into 7.0, the anniversary rewards will most likely be bundled with Version 7.0.

Odette: Lunar Cryo Support, C2 Power Spike?

Odette is the new 5-star character in the first half of 7.0, a Cryo sword support positioned as a “Lunar” system support. According to currently leaked information, her core mechanics are:

She can trigger both Lunar Superconduct and Lunar Swirl reactions at the same time, which is fundamentally different from the pure Lunar Superconduct positioning of the Marionette (Sandrone);

An off-field sub-DPS and buffing support, compatible with two Lunar reaction systems;

Core C2 transformation: constellation effects include increased ATK and reduced enemy Cryo/Electro RES (Lunar Superconduct) or Cryo/Anemo RES (Lunar Swirl). Exact numbers are subject to the official release;

If you plan to pull for the new Snezhnaya system, Odette will most likely be an unavoidable component. The dual-reaction system of Lunar Superconduct + Lunar Swirl will be the core theme of Versions 7.0 and 7.1.
