Iroi Weapon, Hollow Veil & Substats Complete Guide – From C0 Support to C6 Sub-DPS Endgame Build

Iloyi is officially live, and her build depends heavily on her team role: is she a pure healing support, or does she take on sub-DPS duties at 0+1 and above? This guide covers weapon priority, Aether Curtain sets, stat selection, and dupe planning to help you finish Iloyi’s build in one place.
Role decides the build: stack ATK for pure healing, balance Crit for sub-DPS
Iloyi’s progression logic is very straightforward: her support value does not require skill upgrades, and you only need to unlock her two passives first. The key build variable is where you place her in the team: a 0+0 pure healing support, or a sub-DPS setup unlocked at 0+1 and above. Different roles have completely different priorities for weapons, Aether Curtains, and stats.

Weapon choices (highest to lowest priority)
| Weapon | Recommendation | Core Effect | Best Use |
| Wrong Door (signature weapon) | ★★★★★ | ATK +16%; after healing: self Spirit DMG +30%, teammates gain +15% universal DMG | Recommended for all teams except the Nayi Genesis team; major improvement |
| Pitch-Black Youth Delusion | ★★★★ | ATK% sub-stat; Black Book damage-boost mechanic | Best lower-tier choice for sub-DPS, with a solid ATK increase |
| Inspiration Battle Royale - Arc Adjustment 5 | ★★★★ | After casting a Shift skill, gain 18 Ultimate Energy (once every 20s) | Top choice for the Nayi Genesis team, with huge rotation value |
The signature weapon, [Wrong Door], gives a very noticeable damage boost to Iloyi herself. It also provides a high ATK advantage and improves both amplification and healing. It is recommended to pull in every setup except the Nayi Genesis team.
[Pitch-Black Youth Delusion] is the preferred lower-tier weapon for a sub-DPS role. Its ATK increase is high enough to secure both amplification and healing, but Corruption strength has an inverse relationship with the weapon effect, so it is not recommended unless your resources are extremely limited.
[Inspiration Battle Royale - Arc Adjustment 5] has huge rotation value in the Nayi Genesis team. After casting a Shift skill, it grants 18 Ultimate Energy (once every 20s), which is extremely important for Genesis teams that rely on ultimate cycling!!
For Cassettes, you can usually pick Sonic Blue Hedgehog without much thought, especially in Genesis teams. No one else fits Blue Hedgehog better than Iloyi. Only the Crimson team with Yi can choose Forest Firefly Heart; when Yi takes Blue Hedgehog, Iloyi can use the Spirit set, since that team does not lack the 20% energy recharge for ultimate rotations.
For damage, even if Iloyi does not stack with enhanced normal attacks, the Spirit set can match Blue Hedgehog. In real combat, it is nearly impossible to avoid getting at least one stack, so the Spirit set’s damage is consistently higher than Blue Hedgehog. If enhanced normal attacks are included in her damage rotation, the Spirit set is 20% stronger than Blue Hedgehog.
Aether Curtain and stat choices by role
Crimson Charge team / Fuyi Genesis team / Triple-support hypercarry team
Weapon: Wrong Door
Aether Curtain: Forest Firefly Heart (recommended) or Sonic Blue Hedgehog (triple-support team)
Main stat: Crit Rate
Sub-stats: Crit Rate = Crit DMG > ATK% = flat ATK > universal%

Nayi Genesis team
Weapon: Inspiration Battle Royale - Arc Adjustment 5
Aether Curtain: Sonic Blue Hedgehog
Sub-stats: Crit Rate = Crit DMG > ATK% = flat ATK > universal%
Pure healing role
Main stat: ATK% (do not use Healing Bonus)
Sub-stats: ATK% = flat ATK > Crit Rate = Crit DMG > universal%
Key takeaway: Iloyi’s healing scales with ATK, so ATK% stats are better than Healing Bonus stats. At 0 dupes as a pure support, prioritize ATK to secure healing; after 0+1 unlocks her sub-DPS playstyle, you need to account for both Crit Rate and Crit DMG.
For main stats, Iloyi’s stat choices do not interfere with her support value. Only ATK affects healing, but her base healing is already enough, so it is better to prioritize damage. Crit Rate and Spirit DMG perform best, while Crit DMG is not recommended.
Recommended skill leveling
Sub-DPS role: Basic Attack > Shift = Ultimate > Assist
Healing role: Shift = Ultimate > Basic Attack > Assist
Because Iloyi’s share of team damage is limited and every skill has some healing attached, it is not recommended to leave skills completely unleveled. In terms of skill damage contribution, after one enhanced normal attack cycle and two Q+E cycles, Basic Attack accounts for 37%, Shift skill 28%, Ultimate 21%, and Assist skill 14%.
If enhanced normal attacks are woven into the skill rotation, Basic Attack has the clearly highest damage share. However, not every team is worth syncing Iloyi’s enhanced normals into the rotation. Especially when teammates are highly invested, Shift skill has the highest priority and can be leveled to 8 or even higher.
Dupe recommendations
Recommended path: 0+0 → 0+1 → 1+1 → 1+5 → 3+1 → 6+1
Dupe priority by team:
Crimson Charge team: 5 > 25 > 125 > 1235
Nayi Genesis team: 5 > 15 > 125 > 1235
Fuyi Genesis team: 5 > 45 > 145 > 1245 > 12345
Triple-support hypercarry team: 5 > 15 > 125 > 1235
Quick review of each awakening effect:
Awakening 1: Slowly restores “Delusion” off-field and speeds up awakening charge, increasing extra ultimate damage. It improves rotations and provides a moderate boost.
Awakening 2: After teammates use skills, deals damage and restores HP. Larger improvement for teams with multi-hit skills.
Awakening 3: Increases healing. Not very practical.
Awakening 4: Increases the little sheep’s damage after Regression. Only useful for Regression-style builds.
Awakening 5: Grants teamwide damage after casting Shift. Highest priority.
Awakening 6: After a teammate is turned into a sheep, casting Ultimate and then switching teammates can grant that teammate 50 Synergy and Ultimate Energy. Currently not useful.
If Iloyi is low-awakening and built as support, prioritize the Sonic Blue Hedgehog Cassette. If she is high-awakening and built for damage, the Spirit set is an option. If you only want to improve support value, prioritize Awakening 5 first, then Awakening 1 for faster special energy recovery. Awakening 4 and Awakening 2 mainly improve Iloyi’s personal damage.
How should you choose?

Iloyi has a very high floor as a character. At 0+0, she already provides a complete support kit: enough healing, useful grouping, and a unique revive mechanic. But if you want her to also handle damage, 0+1 is the breakpoint. The Spirit DMG and universal damage boost from her signature weapon are the key to unlocking her sub-DPS playstyle. For dupes, Awakening 5 has the highest priority, as its teamwide damage boost after casting Shift outperforms the other awakenings by a wide margin.
