Pratonton Banner Wuthering Waves 3.8! Seni Splash Lily Didedahkan, Perfumer Healer-Support Lengkapkan Sistem Hsin, Senarai Rerun & Rancangan Tarikan

Lily’s character artwork was finally officially released on October 7.

Honestly, I was a little stunned at first······ Her ethereal perfumer vibe, together with the official line “May the pain of the past fade with the wind, and may this floral fragrance guide your path,” makes her feel quite different from previous Wuthering Waves characters. Some players said she gives off Shorekeeper vibes, and I don’t think that comparison is exaggerated~

Kuro also chose a very direct way to introduce her this time: artwork and profile details were released immediately, without a drawn-out drip-feed campaign. As the final version of the 3.X chapter, Version 3.8 seems designed to reveal information quickly so players have enough time to plan.

Here is everything that can currently be confirmed.

Version 3.8 Banner Overview — Only Lily Is Officially Confirmed

The most important point first: Lily is currently the only character officially confirmed for the Version 3.8 banners. Everything else is based on leaks.

This is not meant to dampen expectations, but to help you plan realistically. Kuro has changed banner lineups at short notice before, and rerun names can still change only a few days before the preview livestream. Treat the rerun information below as a possibility, not a promise.

Second HalfRumored new male 4-starNew 4-starLeak, limited information
Second HalfXiangli Yao, Zhezhi5-star rerunsLeak

Lily in the first half is virtually certain, while the reruns of Cangli? and Feixue remain leaks. There is even less information about the second half; a rerun slot seems likely, but the exact characters are disputed.

The rerun logic is not difficult to understand. Cangli? last appeared in Version 3.2, so by November it will have been around seven months since her rerun, which fits the usual window. Feixue’s rerun rumor is tied to a new skin, but she only reran in the second half of Version 3.6. A November return would mean an interval of just six weeks, which is extremely short for Wuthering Waves, so I remain cautious about that rumor~

Release Date — November 11 Is Highly Likely

The timeline can be inferred from the official information for Version 3.7.

The final login event for Version 3.7 ends on November 11, 2026. That date almost certainly locks Version 3.8 to the same day. Some servers may show November 12 because of time-zone differences.

The preview livestream can also be estimated. Kuro’s Version 3.7 preview aired on September 19, eleven days before the version launch. Using the same interval, the Version 3.8 preview will likely take place on October 30 or 31. All leak information should be confirmed or disproven during that stream.

The overall schedule should be roughly as follows: the first half begins on November 11, the second half starts around December 2 after three weeks, and Version 3.8 ends around December 23, when the new Version 4.0 New Federation chapter begins.

This timing matters because Lily’s banner will be only about six weeks away from Version 4.0. Every Astrite you spend on Lily is effectively coming out of your Version 4.0 budget.

Who Is Lily? — A Perfumer Girl Who Heals Mental Trauma with Floral Scents

kardz_news_ww101005.jpg

Lily has a rather distinctive background.

She is a young perfumer caught up in the Resonator war in the Federation city. Thanks to her special Resonance ability, she became a psychological healer during the war. Her ability, “Dreamweaving Fragrance,” allows her to create brief dreamlike illusions through perfumery, putting targets to sleep amid floral scents and healing their mental trauma.

One line in her official profile is especially touching: she cannot stop the war, so she chooses to save every person standing before her. It is practically a mission statement for a healer.

Her weapon is a pistol and her attribute is Spectro, making her Wuthering Waves’ first Spectro pistol character. She is a 5-star character associated with the New Federation storyline.

Lily’s Role — A Coordinated Healer and Support for the Chasing Flowers Set

kardz_news_ww101002.jpg

Leaked test-server information points to a clear role: a healer-support for the Coordinated system, providing healing and teamwide ATK buffs.

There is strong evidence for this sitting right in your Echo inventory.

Version 3.7 added three Echo set effects, including Chasing Flowers. Its 2-piece effect grants 10% Healing Bonus. The 5-piece effect grants the whole team 10% ATK for 30 seconds when healing an ally; if a character gains a Coordinated effect or triggers a Coordinated entry during that time, ATK increases by another 15%.

The problem is that no current character fully fits this 5-piece effect.

Moonlit Fox and Suo Ming handle damage and buffs but provide no healing, while existing healers do not use the Coordinated mechanic and cannot take advantage of the extra 15% ATK. In other words, the Chasing Flowers set has been waiting since Version 3.7 for a character who can satisfy both healing and Coordinated requirements.

Lily fills that gap perfectly.

If her kit can consistently trigger healing and interact with Coordinated effects, she will become the only healer-support currently able to fully activate Chasing Flowers. This is not just speculation; it is the design intent implied by the Echo set.

For team building, Moonlit Fox’s complete setup currently consists of Moonlit Fox as the main DPS and Suo Ming as the sub-DPS, but it lacks a healer to ensure survival and activate Chasing Flowers’ teamwide ATK buff. Lily is widely considered the third member of the Moonlit Fox generation-three team.

One practical suggestion: if you plan to pull Lily, you can start farming Chasing Flowers now. Farming the set during the second half of Version 3.7 means she can equip it immediately after release and saves a lot of stamina. Whether to use Healing Bonus or ATK% as the main stat can be decided after her test-server numbers are available.

Pull Recommendations by Player Type

Version 3.8 is a classic resource-testing period. It closes the 3.X chapter while also leading into Version 4.0, so pull decisions should not focus only on Lily.

Players preparing a Moonlit Fox team should consider pulling. Lily is believed to be a key piece of the Moonlit Fox Coordinated setup, and the team may feel incomplete without her. If you already have Moonlit Fox and Suo Ming, her value becomes even clearer; the three-character setup is currently expected to be optimal.

Players lacking a Spectro or pistol character may also consider her. Lily is the first Spectro pistol support, giving her a unique niche, and she can function as a general-purpose healer-support in other teams. Her usefulness should extend beyond the label of being a Moonlit Fox specialist.

Players who already have Shorekeeper or Verina can skip her. If your healing roster is already sufficient, Lily’s priority drops significantly. Shorekeeper and Verina remain the benchmarks for general healing, while Lily’s main advantage lies in her Coordinated synergy.

Players saving for Version 4.0 should wait and see. The New Federation update is expected to bring new mechanics, a new region, and possible collaborations. With limited resources, you need to decide whether Lily is truly essential.

For players who do not plan to pull, Version 3.8 is also a great saving period. Clearing events, collecting Astrites, and carrying your pity into Version 4.0 is a perfectly valid strategy.

KARDZ Recommended Top-Up Guide

As the officially recommended top-up channel from Kardz, we would like to share a few words with all Rovers.

Version 3.8 has a complicated position: it closes 3.X and leads into Version 4.0. Many players want Lily as the missing piece of the Moonlit Fox team, but the New Federation update arrives only six weeks later, creating double pressure on Astrite reserves. If Lily really is the only character who can fully use Chasing Flowers, her signature weapon and Echo setup may also require additional investment.

Lily’s information has been released at a comfortable pace, from her artwork to her leaked role.

The combination of a perfumer and dream therapy fits the world of Wuthering Waves surprisingly well, giving her the distinctive feel of a battlefield psychologist. Mechanically, if she really is the only perfect user of Chasing Flowers, Kuro was already laying the groundwork for Version 3.8 when designing the Version 3.7 Echoes. That kind of long-term planning is interesting~

Ultimately, the Version 3.8 banner plan comes down to one question: are you building a Moonlit Fox team? If yes, Lily is the long-awaited missing piece. If not, Version 3.8 is a good time to save, clear events, and carry pity into Version 4.0. Neither choice is wrong; the key is knowing what you want.

The preview livestream at the end of October should provide all the answers. Until then, hold on to your Astrites and do not let the smaller banners in between tempt you~
