What’s the Current HSR Version?

As of now, Honkai: Star Rail is on Version 3.6. The update rolled out on September 23, 2025 (NA) and September 24, 2025 (EU / Asia / TW / HK / MO servers). 

So if you log in today, you’ll be playing in 3.6 — and all banners, events, new characters, maps, etc., are under that version.

What’s New in Version 3.6

Here are some of the highlights you can expect in 3.6:

• New Character(s): One of the star additions is Evernight (Ice / Remembrance) in Phase 1. 

• Permansor Terrae is introduced in Phase 2 — a Physical / Preservation character, and interestingly, kind of aligned with Dan Heng’s lore. 

• New maps & missions: Expect new exploration zones, new Trailblaze chapters (like “Back to Earth in Evernight”), fresh events, and more. 

• Banner & Reruns: The version brings new banners and reruns, including The Herta rerun, Anaxa return, etc. 

• Quality of life & feature tweaks: As with past patches, expect performance optimizations, minor UI / system adjustments, and balancing of some characters.

So Version 3.6 is a mix of fresh content and reruns, giving returning players something new and veterans a chance to catch things they missed.

• Gacha / banner timing: If you plan to pull, you need to align with current 3.6 banner cycles so you don’t miss rate-ups.

• Event windows: Many rewards, freebies, login bonuses, or story arcs are locked to version windows. Miss the version, and you may miss rewards.

• Compatibility & updates: Make sure your app is updated to 3.6 before maintenance ends — or you might get locked out.

• Resource planning: With new maps and missions, you’ll want to budget Stellar Jade, warps, materials, etc., for the new content.
